The owner and professional pet groomer for Cozy Pet Care LLC, Carla Stazko, has been a pet groomer for over 34 years. She graduated at the top of her class from a nationally accredited grooming school The Nash Academy of Animal Arts in New Jersey in 1986. From a very young age, taking care of animals has always been an unrelenting passion for Carla. She has dedicated her life to taking care of a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, horses, goats, bunnies, a wide variety of reptiles/lizards and other small animals. Some of Carla's career accomplishments include competing and winning in multiple grooming contests, becoming a grooming instructor at Nash Academy, grooming dogs for a national magazine ad and a TV commercial. She and her previous business were also featured on the cover of Groomer to Groomer, a national grooming industry magazine. Carla was co-owner of a high end grooming salon with dog, cat and bird boarding and a full line of pet supplies. Palm Tree Pets in Largo, Florida was started from scratch and grew into a successful full service pet business (during which Carla also started her first successful mobile grooming business). The state of the art salon was featured in pet industry magazines on more than one occasion. It was also featured on the local TV news and in the local newspaper. Carla's other interests have included competing in horse shows, obedience and agility training with her Doberman, Athena, and showing hers and others Chihuahuas and Affenpinschers in numerous AKC confirmation shows. She is a member of the Tampa Bay Chihuahua Club and the Chihuahua clubs previous auction coordinator. Living and working in the North Central Florida area is an exciting opportunity. The pets, pet owners, veterinarians and people in general in this area are so friendly, courteous and have been very receptive to Cozy Pet Care's mobile grooming business.
